It’s best for school‑age children who can sit at a desk independently. If you’re unsure, start with short sessions and watch how your child responds.
It’s a habit‑training tool that encourages better sitting; it is not a medical device or guaranteed correction. For posture or spine issues, please speak with a doctor or physiotherapist.
When adjusted correctly, the front bar should lightly touch the chest when your child sits upright. It should not press hard or cause pain. If your child feels discomfort, raise, lower or reposition it.
It works best on smooth, flat table edges that allow the clamp and base to grip properly. It may not hold as well on very rounded or textured surfaces.
Start with short periods (10–20 minutes) and gradually increase as they get used to it. Always include breaks to stand, move and stretch.
